News Announcement

Consumer Utilities Bureau to process claims from Water Claims UK

We are pleased to announce that Consumer Utilities Bureau has agreed to process claims from the Water Claims Action Group (WCAG) the organisation that formerly operated the Water Claims UK brand and website.

This relates to the fact that millions of social housing tenants were wrongly made to pay their Council or Housing Association landlords for water services as part of their rent for many years. Legal precedents have since been set - including a breakthrough case against the London Borough of Southwark which led to
compensation payments of more than £28 million to affected tenants in Southwark.

If you are or were a social housing tenant (named on the tenancy agreement) and were charged for water services as part of the rent you pay/paid to your Council or Housing Association Landlord, you may also be able to claim. It only takes a moment, so please click below to see if you qualify.
